The AMERICAN PEOPLE are tired of "soft shoes" McCain. We want to see him slip into those Combat Boots and give OBAMA what he deserves. It is time to EXPOSE Obama for who he is. A RADICAL SOCIALIST with friends like WILLIAM AYERS * SAUL ALINSKY * ACORN * JEREMIAH WRIGHT * LOUIS FARRAKHAN * BERNADINE DOHRN.
In the 1960's a man like this would not ever become Senator.
Don't pull any punches John and stop reaching out to the PRESS as if they were your friends. They are not your friends. They never were. They are working hard 24/7 to destroy you and Sarah Palin. WAKE UP!!

Why give more money to those that failed? Considering the amount of money proposed to bail out AIG and this latest giveaway to Wall Street, I propose the following alternative. Don't fund the bail outs. There is enough for each tax-paying legal citizen 18 and over to receive approximately $400,000. Give it back to us. This results in an instant infusion of cash to the economy. Go ahead and tax it - money back to the govt. People paying off mortgages would instantly increase banks liquidity, and overall would reduce the need for credit. It's enough so those that want to buy a home could do so.

Does anyone know if Alaska got any of that 5 pound pork? The Bailout was heavy enough to be a new country's 21st century constitution with all considerations.

I think it is time for a 50 State recall. We must start completely over if we cannot even get passed and emergency financial bail-out without 10 tons of pork and wooden arrows for the Alaskan fishermen to use to open their front-load washers. give us a break! Isn't this what it is all really about. We are so bogged down in politics that we cannot run a Country. Why doesn't anyone remember that we are the Greatest Country On Earth and get back to acting like it. I am tired of being responsible for all the ills of the World! Bring the kids home, shut and lock the door and let's get the crops in.

Next year, the American people need to rally to force campaign finance reform. We need to make it Unlawful to give money to an Elected official, his party or his relatives. If this requires we delete the $12,000 per year per person gift tax exemption, so be it. The same should go for private contributions. Campaigns should be financed through contributions collected by the IRS and limited by laws. These laws need to prevent loopholes as Jeffery Feingold used to contribute for eack of his employes. Wer should also force term limits on politicians.

“Squeal, squeal like a pig.” Famous line from the 1972 movie Deliverance. It will also be what Congress says to “We The People,” while voting in favor of the Buyout “Rescue” Bill. Same Bill as before with a HUGE side order of “PORK” Do any of recall what was tragically happening to Ned Beatty during this scene of the movie? Let me warn you, it is graphic, but what the Government is doing to the American Taxpayer is very graphic too.

You know, I read that there is currently over $55 trillion in American Certificates of Deposits which are all FDIC insured. Is this something to worry about???

Yes, I was the one that posted that lengthy comment. I have two main things to say. First, who really gives a damn about the politics on Capitol Hill as long as they move our country in the right direction through some version of the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN? I say elect McCain, he knows how to cut military spending. Sure it would be nice if Newt Gingrich was once again Speaker of the House. But maybe Nancy Pelosi will get over her partisan bickering. Don't hold your breath for that one. But now more than ever, our nation needs bipartisan leadership, no fingerpointing. We must thank God for the blessings that we already do have. Second, I do realize that right now the United States is on a pure valueless Federal Reserve System. Now I do not know very much about banking but I do see this following problem: what $1 buys today about $184000 give or take a few thousand dollars will buy in 1000 years. And that's at average annual inflation of only 2%. So you see that inflation get ridiculous over any 1000 year period when money is not backed by something. Which is why I suggest that the Second Industrial Revolution might involve the development of a hybrid reserve between the Fed and Gold Standand. And then how much gold is backing money at any given time can become adjustable based on how government wishes to influence an already chaotic economy.

I do engage in international business and have build my own business up over the years. I have been following this situation for a number of years. The real sticking point was when the fed stopped reporting the M3's in March of 2006. That was a huge warning sign that the deck was stacked. Not only by hucksters on Wall Street but by the fed and folks in government who should be looking out for the citizen's best interest. By the examples of what we have seen banks do in the last few years should be a window on what they will do once they get new money. When the fed was lowering short term interest rates to banks, banks were raising their rates on credit cards and other type of credit. This was a move of pure greed. Now we are being asked or better being told we are going to be jacked up to bail out hucksters who will take advantage of people once again at the first opportunity. Being government produces nothing and this country is not on the gold standard. The government has to take something away from someone to give to someone else. In this case the taking is going to come out of the real producers and be giving to the money changers. Clearly we are in this mess because we have the wrong people on the hill making our laws and overseeing out day to day business. I simply can not trust these same people, and for good reasons.

This is my response to Newt's speech given on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. America is experiencing an economic crisis. In terms of GDP, it could easily become surpassed by China. Will that such development be temporary or permanent? The answer to this question lies with the actions that we, America, take now. I believe in a strong free-market America that can outgrow China in the long run and permanently hold that 'number one' spot in the future. But the decision lies with us. With regard to the Bailout Crisis, we should already be thanking God and praising God that $700 billion of valuable taxpayer money was not wasted on golden parachutes for the top most corrupted CEOs of America's banks. There is no need for our Congressional leaders to be pointing fingers at eachother. We all know that our economic crisis has something to do with market-to-market transactions, and even more so to do with big oil's squeeze on the economy thanks to both George W. Bush Jr. and Osama Bin Laden working together! However, Bush's days are almost over and we merely need to stop his mayhem from further wrecking our long-term economy. His bailout plan is perfectly designed to secure the INFINITE future for big oil to dominate our nation! Now, I am not totally deadset against big oil. They have a place in developing plastics and I am for Senator McCain's proposed $4billion taxcuts for them. However, the future of transportation is not fossil fuels. It is electromagnetism:) So there is much that America needs to do to build a healthy future for America. I am talking about a future in which America is permanently ahead of China and the rest of the world by the 22nd Century. I will now talk about what can be done. This DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN can be performed over the next two years to permanently pull our country out of recession. History can be compared. Before 1500, nobody could have imagined the growth after 1500. Before 1750, nobody could have imagined the growth after 1750. This was the First Industrial Revolution and traditional banks were involved with a gold standard for currency. Now we are finally on the verge of the Second Industrial Revolution. Like the first, none of us can imagine the economic and technological growth that will come afterwords. This will involve a federal reserve and many other things. Some of those other things could include a hybrid between the old gold standard and the new federal reserve, credit unions, the recently-developed and ultra-powerful quantum-computers, artificial intelligence, and other things. More things to look forward to could include new types of transportation that are at least ten times faster than cars such as airplanes, spacecraft, electromagnetic bullet-cars (train AND individual all controlled by quantum-supercomputers)AND Those transporters you see in Star Trek, if they are possible without losing your soul (how would one know???). AND Multi-level cities towering miles into the sky growing on piping trees laced with lithovores biogenetically-engineered to hold the electromagnetic rail and compute with quantum-capable nervous systems and there's more to this future... Very very powerful sources of electricity from second-stage and third-stage nuclear reactions. The second stage being the fusion of pure hydrogen to helium without isotope researched successfully. And Third-stage antimatter of beta and mesons triggering protons contained successfully. And Then there's 50 zillion ways to expand America's influence. Maybe we will be fortunate enough to meet and learn from Jesus Christ. Maybe we will learn the art of miniaturization (we already do it with our microprocessors). AND A couple other ways, for instance are; We could colonize space with the power of AI, nuclear energy, and last, but never least, God on our side. We Americans could someday learn how to break the speed of light and cross galaxies AND Break into alternate universes and realities governed by other strings of time and black holes with personalities. And breaking the speed of light in this manner may allow for reverse time-travel within particular realities. So now I have outlined the iceberg of the incentive for the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN. The plan can be halted at anytime that it seems to not be working for anyone at all. But it should be working for at least some people all of the time (two years). The DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN calls for pumping up to $100 billion into the U.S. economy every single month for two years straight through borrowing and spending and creating jobs. This plan would cost $2.4 trillion. Smaller-scale versions are possible like say a $600 or $700 billion plan, but unlike the $2.4 trillion plan, those will not do quite everything that I promise. All that the smaller-scale versions will do is move our country in the right direction. A better direction than paying $700 billion for golden parachutes to fix our economy. hahaha One interesting thing that I noticed on watching television today is that all the banking arrows were pointing at "YOU". This was a fallacy because they missed an arrow pointing from "YOU" to "BANK". You must now see that the bank is just as dependent on you as you are on them because they require that you make that deposit or they cannot function. Therefore, I insist that if jobs are created, then liquidity will result (especially if they heed Newt's advice concerning market-to-market transactions). Even if those jobs are created on borrowed money, America could become far more productive if we are able to eliminate 70% of the liquidity problem as Newt has suggested. What my plan promises to do is nothing less than to end recession in this country and definitely put us ahead of China and the rest of the world permanently to the point where we Americans beat them to the punch. And this is a competition. For America, country first, to beat them to the punch through the Second Industrial Revolution. I describe how we get from here to there. The DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN describes the actions we must take to get from here to there through the Second Industrial Revolution. First and foremost, the BIG BANKER BUSH BAILOUT Package must Fail!!!!!!!!!! I repeat, it must not pass! Tell everyone in the House of Representatives. Tell everyone in the Senate. Absolute Power absolutely corrupts! Bush Jr. would have America remain in the frigid days of big oil dominating our nation's economy, advertisement, media, internet, you name it, he owns it, so does Osama Bin Laden. With the old economy of corrupt old bankers will collapse big oil and we need a new far better 22nd century form of transportation. So we had better invest now and find it fast just as urgently as we had researched the Manhattan Project! The DOW will collapse. Maybe to 8000, maybe to 6000, maybe even down all the way down to 4000. But it will rebound. Because there is always someone left at the end of the day with gold to make the rules. So I suggest you sell your oil stocks and buy gold to be safe. Because oil is going down and going to crash so long as this bailout does not pass. And it is about time that the American economy was freed from those overly extensive tentacles. If the $700 Billion BUSH Bailout is not passed, then America's old corrupt economy will crumble and give way to the emergence of a brand new much faster-paced greener electromagnetic information-space-age new economy with a 19th century government bureacracy (chew on that Barrack Obama). I am not racist. I just believe in the principles of Say's Law of Supply and Herbert Spencer's Theory about government. And I am sick and tired of hearing this bs about how we now need a 21st century bureacracy. The DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN essentially lasts two years. The first long-term necessity for America is fresh drinking water from our rivers and oceans (powered through desalination plants). So we need an extensive piping system. Our country's current piping infrastrusture is almost getting obsolete made anywhere from 1880 to 1920. So those main junctures need to be replaced and the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN calls for up to half the funds be spent on that. Our drinking water will affect us into the 22nd century. This is why this is such an important project that we do it right this time. The total project all pipes gradually laid and water-purification plants should be able to be built in two years at $50 billion/month or $ 1.2 trillion total. And this time we build it so that the water in the pipes can be pumped up and down many miles so the system can be modified for future generations as American cities and populations grow. Then there is the other $50 billion/month split between various programs. I am talking about two year projects of research involving hypothetical questions such as (what if we put x (10^7 dollars) into subsidizing (partially matching) education expenditures in a given state such as Colorado for instance?) And one thing Senator Obama might be good for is finding ways to make certain that those subsidies encourage education of not just college students and not just early-childhood, but both proportionately where needed. And what kind of creature do get when you genetically alloy quantum-based artificial-intelligence with lithovores with hemp (since I am for the free market determining the free exchange rate of marijuana and no government ban on it, maybe some taxation of it) with redwood trees and controlling the specific gene that limits growth height? Can a foundation be developed and built for a new type of skscrapper-tree-house city in which everyone is free to get high whenever they want to? Amsterdam could already be jealous. Hahaha Such a skyscrapper could be fast-growing and grow in severe conditions (desert hemp). Such a skyscrapper could hopefully be strong enough (lithovore) to hold pipes/plumbing and carry electromagnetic solenoid coil-roads for next-generation cars to just shoot through all at the calculation of a quantum supercomputer. And such a skyscrapper could carry the very buildings and infrastructure we reside in if we learn the art of programming it's growth pattern on AI computer. The very first city developed this way would eventually grow miles high and be experimental in nature dominating the first two years. After that, we would have a template to copy as big oil had finally collapsed. If America does not yet have Artificial Intelligence technology, we need to develop it really fast. We currently have quantum computers to help us develop it. That alone maybe worth anywhere from $10 to $20 billion/month in additional research. Certainly, this a country where it would not hurt to put a couple of extra billion /month into implementing alternative energy sources that are already on the market such as nuclear fission (stage one), wind power, solar power, clean coal, natural gas, geothermal, hydropower, rainpower, etc, etc. Then, over the longer term, we can begin a research project for nuclear fusion and antimatter power (stage 2 and stage 3 electricity generation). The ability to peacefully generate electricity in these ways is far far more powerful than their wartime purposes. Make the impossible (what literally happens in our sun) possible for stage 2. Total conversion is stage 3. Contain that:) Meanwhile, we Americans can continue experiments with NASA. A real manned missioned to Mars (no bs) would be nice. Hey, I was born after man supposedly landed on the moon so I do not know what to believe because in 1978 we we not returning to the moon for some odd reason. And to top it off, we could stick 50 gazillion geostationary satellites over China instead of invading our own citizens' privacy. And do not forget Star Wars. They can't shoot down anything that we can't already shoot down. The only other research I would suggest are general additions to military R&D and commercial R&D on the scale of a couple of $billion /month each and the grand total should come out to around $50 billion /month (excluding the new piping network) for two years. The DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN creates jobs and even does a little bit for education during those two years. It does not hurt at all. The basic premise is to start small, experiment, and if it works, then go bigtime. Otherwise we go back to the drawing table to fix our department of education which any sensible person would agree is backward by industrial standards. So at only $50 billion/month, I do not think I could alot much for education. Though that could depend on how fast artificial intelligence technology (top priority) develops. The DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN does prepare our country for a new emerging hyper-advanced global economy allowing America to take it's rightful place as Number One. And the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN prepares America for the information age as well as the impending space race with China. However, after two years, then what? I will have voted John McCain in for the presidency. If Obama won, then I can complain for four years straight. If McCain wins, then hopefully, McCain boosts education in the decentralized manner that I suggested in which the federal government only controls and only encurages the generalitys And after the two years of the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN, I sincerely hope that McCain would boost education across even more for our country's future. Then, assuming that we have already discovered artificial intelligence and gotten out of this ridiculous recession, he can proceed with his masterful plan to cut most programs. Of course, since fossil fuels will be a thing of the past he will have to invest trillions of American taxpayer dollars in new electromagnetic infrastructure built on the tallest biogenetically-engineered cities in the world. What this all means is that for the next 10 to 15 years or so, you can expect to say 'goodbye' to tax loopholes and welfare to the rich which take up most of our nation's current federal budget. And you can expect to say 'hello' to individual' quantum-nervous-controlled cars that travel at least ten times faster than todays cars. And since they will be computer-controlled, that will mean fewer accidents. By the end of McCain's first term in office, incomes will have already reversed direction. Americans may look around them, enjoy their fresh water and marvel at the rapid technological growth of their country over the last four years. Then they may just ignore their poverty, or at least overlook it long enough to be grateful for what has suddenly become possible as the Second Industrial Revolution has just begun. Not to mention, that some of them may already be enjoying faster travel and less traffic. This just might get McCain re-elected in four years. McCain should not cut the smaller research programs that really move us towards stage 2 and stage 3 electricity as well as commercial and military R&D as those are absolutely necessarily for our country's future. If anything, boost military R&D further so that someday we can drastically cut military spending (which takes up a very large share of todays federal budget). However, $50 billion/month is only so much when you're trying to research Artificial Intelligence and at the same time build an experimental bio-quantum electromagnetic city of stratospheric proportions. All in just two years! But under McCain, goodbye welfare to the rich. If he would just vote against that bailout which basically is the biggest welfare to the rich ever offered in one short week. And admit that he was wrong and suddenly all the American public would be on his side. Or about 98% of them anyway. Talk about a chance to win the election come November. So what do we do after the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN? After the two years is up, when the economy is overheated is inflation is high, government cuts spending and evaluates taxes. When the economy is slow and deflation is eminent, then government raises spending. It's that simple. If inflation is low and the economy is booming then Bill Clinton must be your president and Newt Gingrich must be your speaker of the House. If inflation is high and the economy is in depression then George Bush Jr. must be your president and Nancy Pelosi must be your speaker of the House. It's really that simple. Remember that smaller versions of the DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN can be implemented and they would all move our country in the right direction. However, I think that so far only the $2.4 trillion one that I have suggested would get us out of this recessionary mess when combined with Newt Gingrich's idea about suspending market-to-market transactions. And hey, try my full-scale DIAMOND DAN ACTION PLAN. Bet you China will never catch up again. Hahaha We may have to catch up to them, but then we will surge way way ahead of them permanently. And finally, let me describe myself. I have an Associate's in Science Degree in Physics with High Honors. I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome and Bipolar Mania and live off of SSI disability. I do hope to return to college someday if I am ever able to get a student loan but it is difficult because our country is dead last in the industrial world when it comes to education.

Hey Newt they slamed you on Morning Joe. Now normally I would not mention but well your Republican and you represnted GA.
Basically they said you strong armed the GOP and caused the stock market dipping and when things got bad you flipped flop and change your position to save face.
Now that is just silly. My postion was I didn't like the first plan Paulson proposed and would stand against it no matter the cost. When people saying Reagan caused this and we have to accept socialism I was sad.
Now I did like the bill on Monday (I think.) As long as it had free market principles I could have gone along with it.
I would watch Tuesday Morning Joe and make your own decison on how to take it since it is your decsion. Personally I would probally just leave it alone myself.
PS I am PROUD of the House GOP taking a bold stance on Principles myself.

The charade that Nancy Pelosi orchestrated on the house floor increasingly obvious to most thinking Americans, and Republicans are left realizing the complete incompetence of Madam Speaker to run the House.
How differently the bill would have looked -- and how much more successively passed -- if Newt, the master planner, was working with Dick Armey, the policy guru, and Delay, the armtwister, to get an economic plan to the Senate.
Listening to this makes me pine away for the days when Republicans held the gavel and Bill Clinton held the pen.
