I've not heard much talk about where we are going to get the doctors and nurses to take care of an additional 50,000 patients. I have a friend who had to wait for surgery for a bulging disc in her spine. This excruciating pain lasted for nearly a month before the surgeon could operate. I shudder to think if she ever would get relief from this pain if this new health care plan is engineered by the government. The government has failed with the current system; what can we expect from more of the same old, same old?
