You spend a lot of time in your return form letter email touting the virtues this Scozzafava person and none on Hoffman's virtues, what, he has no good points. You keep talking about the local republicans want this the local republicans want that, they know best for their district. Trouble is old Newt buddy, whoever this congress person is going to be makes decisions in Washington that affect all of us. I'm more concerned about all of America not just a little corner in New York. Admit you made a mistake and lets move on, either that or get out of the way....Larry

It appears that true to form, some conservatives that would rather be right than dead, are dissing the party loyalty that Gingrich has appklied in this case. Fortunately, with the right to bear arms, these jerks can shoot themselves in the foot with their own weapons.

Common, Newt! The last thing we need is an image of you hanging out with dinosaurs and such.

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, October 27, 2009 2:30 PM
Mr. Ginrich,

I have always considered you to be one of the most intelligent and innovative Republicans of this era. I would like to know if you have even spoke to Mr. Hoffman and if so did you ask him who he would be caucusing with if elected to the office. You may have made the biggest mistake of your political career. You just lost my vote and the votes of most conservatives.

I just sent Hoffman a donation although I do not live in the 23d District of NY. From now on I will only support Conservative candidates and I will be voting my principals in the future and not just follow the chosen Republican Party candidates.

I am disappointed in your decision to endorse Scozzafava rather than the Conservative Hoffman in NY's 23d District.

"HEAR THE PEOPLE"
Your missing the change the people want!
We are tired of the life long politician !!!
Especially those who's moral compass is off!!!!
Dede does not stand for my moral principles!!!
I can understand picking between the lesser of the two Evils!!!!
But there is a better option, DOUG HOFFMAN!!! Please reconsider!! Don't be on the wrong side.

THE WORKING CLASS OF AMERICA

The Republicans talk a great deal about trying to attract independent voters. Well since I left the Republican party to become an independent I guess they are trying to gain my vote. I am conservative, want low tax rates, small government and my individual freedom back. So there try to attract me back. Why would I vote for a Rebublican that is nothing more than Democrat Light since there is not enough difference to make me think the country would be in better hands. WAKE UP!!!!!

Newt, wake up and stop defending the status quo in the Republican Party. Conservatives have at last discovered that Republicans need them, but they don't need Republicans.

Run Newt Run,,,, best candidate since Regan for the GOP and the nation

By Anonymous @ Sunday, October 25, 2009 12:37 AM
Newt,
lets hope there is enough time before 2012 for you reconsider your "overtly calculated" conversion to Catholicism, palling around with Al Sharpton and your suport of RIno's.
Is there any chance I can get the thousands I donated to all your groups back. This is a real major let down and your stock is falling faster than gold is rising.
Please ask Rick Santorm how that pragmatism is working out. That you tube clip of Him and Bush backing Spector over Toomey is first class. Ya think Rick would like a mulligan about now. And look how running to the center keep him out of Moveon.org's gunsites.. they only dropped 26 million to derail his chances in 2008
Here's my suggestion ... instead of just making movies about the founding fathers faith ... pray.. read the bible... be reborn..stick to Principals and publicly repent for your sins..
God blessed you with so many talents...
SHOW SOME HUMILITY ....

How apropos to see a fossil in the background of a fossil. You bungled the Scozzafava in a huge way. Time to look for a teaching gig somewhere Neuter, and ride off into the sunset.

Sozzafava most closely resembles a bad stereotype of a B movie politician. Supporting this creature is the best that you and the Republican party can do? I'm proud that I renounced my Republican affiliations some years back. America's future is one of defilement from the lunatics of the Democrat party and the idiots of the Republican party.

Mr Gingrich
I want to know when you will run for presidnt. America is the greatest country on earth, and you sir are a great American.

Newt! Dude! What's up with your support for Dede Scozzafava??! This lady is a HORRIBLE candidate for the party that claims to represent conservatives in America. She called the cops on a reporter for my beloved Weekly Standard. He was just trying to get answers to a couple of questions.

What happened to you, Newt?? You've gone all wishy-washy on me.

Sincerely,
A Sad American :-(

Your web site under "make real change happen" is, protect the secret ballot for American workers! Dede is for card check!! As treasurer of an upstate New York Town Republican Committee, not one member of that committee is going to vote for Dede. It's becoming more and more obvious the higher echelon of the Republican party represents the top 2% wage earners and you, like them, are out of touch.

Newt: You know as well as I that the republican party is as pregnant as the democrats when it comes to taking our taxes. I listen to you and I do not believe you are true conservative. I believe you are a middle man, and a conservative of convience. Why not do us a favor(Americans) and speak as a independent. Repackage your self. Then your words will have meaning. Stop working for the right because right or left, neither is for Americans best interest. Finally, with someone like you a third party would succeed and that is what we need more than anything right now.

Mr. Gingritch, Why is the president doing all the things that most of us do not want him to do? I am 61yrs old and served my country for 7 yrs. I foolishly believed that the president was to answer to the people. I do not want socalized medicene. doen't what I want or need mean anything anymore. We are headed for a one world government just like the Bible says, but I feel we can delay this some if we put Him back in our government and schools and our lives. If I can sign petitions or anything please count on me. Don't even think you will get this. But I hope you do. Thanks for what you do. Jeff

You are to be commended for attempting to educate the public in regard to history of this county and God in that process. But, all of the founders were not really good men. The Puritans left England for THEIR religious beliefs but then chased the QUAKERS out of there communities because the Quaker's would not "sign" the oath of allegence. The Witch trials were an example of the result of too much control by a few. God as been a part of the history of this county, and I pray that it remain a part, but the "religion" of some of those that came before us was at times a bit unfair.........and I believe that should be part of the education of our children, too.
