I loved the speech, especially the reference to the Declaration of Independence and the liberty it outlines, make no mistake this liberty is in peril today. I wish we had more articulate leaders in this party in service, Newt is one of few truly talented Republicans who has chose public life it's time the rest of us make a difference. I don't think this country has the good sense to elect Newt, but I want him to run anyway, I believe he can change the country by merely running. Ideas are more powerful than personalities and Newt is one of the few idea men at the front of this party.

Hmm just a quick suggestion [not sure if this is the right place for it?]:

A very key aspect of Dr. Gingrich's speech is the comparison between Cheney and Obama's speech about terrorism. Why not provide a simple link for us to read it? I really wouldn't have the slightest idea where to find a transcript...

Yes I know I could find it myself, but really, how many of us are "professional citizens"? And what is the point of this site then to make it easier for us to stay informed?

Thanks.

Vincent

I saw your video and appreciated every bit and bite of your speech. We do not have any man like you or any man that can say we are Americans as you did.
Your third observation is very real and difficult to reverse.
We must bring all our manufacturing corporations back and our money here. Get rid of the Free Enterprize Zones around all docks and Internation airports that do not pay duty import fees. Specially the Japanese trucks. One of our Americans in Washiton changed wording on the import definitions and eliminated the truck import duty fees. You must stop them from turning us Americans into a third world country for the sake of the old mighty dollar. Can you get us out of the Federal Reserve? I was one of those servicemen in the Pacific on a C-141 waiting for parts for my aircrafft because they were not available due to funding that President Carter failed to allocate? I know that but too well and I wonder how bad our fellows in Iraque are in the same shape. Bless those contractors that are defrauding us and not taking care of our fighting men. I hope you can shut the back door to Washington from lobbysts and Retired Congressmen and Senators that have access to a revolving door to the coorupt Congressmen, who ever they may be. You have your work cut out if you are to take such an enormous job and responsibility. There is a lot more but you are short on time and too many emails. Wish your luck and thanks for your time.

Innovative speech offering breakthrough solutions by redefining the issues of our time. Building a new zone of collaboration by a courageous reach-out to Al Sharpton and Obama. A must-read for politicians and political thinkers alike.

We need real change, and the answer is right in front of us. Too much government is the worst thing for the economy. I don't want the government running my health care, my banks,or my car manufacturing. Enjoyed your speech, my question is where are the rest of the Republicans? They need to be talking the talk and walking the walk.
I also agree we should be talking to Americans and quit putting a label on them. We can effect real change when all Americans realize we our in this together. I appreciate you speaking for me as another American citizen.

Pssst Newt! We are following RON PAUL now, he is giving us our power back. Join us or be left behind.

Viva US Constitution
Bring back the Representative Republic also know as Congress.
No more power Presidency. End the Fed.

Super great speech Newt! My problem with this whole country and its politics is that Federalism has destroyed the Constitution and the country--States and their populace MUST stand up NOW and demand their just and proper place. At least, Montana has done exactly that over the 2nd Amendment! The People of each state MUST demand from their elected officials that they perform as required for their state to be healthy and prosperous for their population. the US congress must be limited to meeting once each year for a maximum of 90 days-- and all their perks must be eliminated. But if it doesn't start and be run from the local levels it'll only be more of the same old crap. Of Course, Equality in everything political is an absolute. Special Interests would be less favored at local levels with light on them!!
AND, to have a voice each individual MUST be a CITIZEN of this country, ONLY!!Teddy Roosevelt put it best as has been on the net fairly recently--I sympathize with those who strive for a better life But not illegally. Latinos have risen up before and fought to have better lives and less oppressive interference and we should help them accomplish that in whatever legal and moral way that we can.But they have to do it for themselves, foremost. The only Government that will ever succeed totally is a benevolent Monarchy with Jesus Christ as the Monarch. Everything else throughout history has failed and is destined to fail because men choose not to adhere to the greatest document ever written-the Holy Bible--What made this country great was that the founders laid the foundations based on the Christian principles expounded in the Bible then devised a system that enabled control of all things political from the local level-children were taught to read and write AND THINK directly from Biblical Principles-You cannot improve on YHWH!!All is vanity could be phrased all is futility external to the Holy Trinity as expressed in the Holy Christian Bible!! Get back to original intent as expressed and everything will work correctly for the best of all!!

Obama still has well over 50% approval. Prevailing against the liberal scourge on America will not be easy.

The Republican Party showed a profound lack of nerve in allowing the liberals to crucify George Bush...never coming to his defense and avoiding him like the plague during the presidential campaign.

They also allowed Dick Cheney to be crucified by the left wing media. Now Dick Cheney is one of the few who is willing to stand up to the insanity of Obama's absurd national security and foreign policy stupidity.

By Anonymous @ Wednesday, June 17, 2009 10:00 AM
Excellent message! I would only add to Newt's words for the Republican Party the words of JFK 47 years ago at Rice University, when he challenged America in going to the Moon.
"We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy - but because they are hard! Because that challenge is one we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone and one we intend to win!" Our challenge today is as difficult as the moon challenge but one in which we must prevail.

It can be done. The Democrats are rapidly squandering the public good will with which they took office. Nancy Pelosi's the most unpopular Speaker since Tom Foley. President Obama is personally popular but his programs have little or no public support. They can be taken. But it will take another Reagan. Who's the next Reagan?

By Anonymous @ Wednesday, June 17, 2009 8:44 AM
I agree with Newt on amost every issue, but there are a couple issues that will continue to cost Republicans elections: 1. denial of a woman's right to abortion under any circumstances, and 2. the impression that Republicans oppose all immigration. We must articulate a position on abortion that recognizes that women have some legitimate rights, and we must recognize that America wants and needs immigrants to help us perform work that not enough Americans want to do ourselves. The militancy by the right wing on those two issues is far out of step with many Americans and will assure that until those issues are addressed fairly, the party will not climb out of the minority, and the Socialist left will continue to destroy this great country. It saddens me greatly.

Great Job Newt! Also remember that the conservative platform includes: rights of the unborn, strict (and enforced) immigration policies, traditional definitions of marriage, and energy independence. GO NEWT 2012!!
The USA NEEDS you!!!!!

Thanks Newt! Please do America a huge favor by team with Palin for a Newt/Palin 2012 Presidential ticket! Please don't ever slip even one inch on your deeply convicted conservative values and principles.

Hey you, do yourself a favor. Go back to the third grade, learn how to use the English language and spell in a way that at least makes you appear somewhat intelligent. I've seen third graders who have better grammar and spelling than you.

As for the speech - Newt, I'm with you buddy! Always look forward to hearing your speeches and reading your books. Keep up the good work!

By nightowl455 @ Monday, June 15, 2009 1:57 AM
Newt, I was inspired by your speech as I read it word for word online! Keep it up. I hate the Liberal mindset, but the Republican party has been dismally pathetic, quiet, and in hiding. This speech is everything that I (a normal layman) have been almost screaming at my TV since the elecction coverage started. I think you just convinced me that you are the candidate that may REFORM the Republican party into a worthy party...and hopefully REFORM our country after 4 years of Liberalsim. President Newt... The first Republican candidate that I have been excited about in several years now. I hope you run!

P.S. it cracked me up that after I listened to your speech. One of your topics being English as the official American language, yet when I signed up to your website it asked if I preferred English or Spanish!!! HA!!!

Thank you Newt for your inspiring speach. I am in my 30's and feel that having kids in this new world would be imprisioning my grandchildren, if this country lasts that long. If you can change our way of govt., then maybe our grandchildren just might have a future!!

By Hot @ Friday, June 12, 2009 10:31 AM
Nancy thats what they say about Obama, It's his time. Now look at what we have.

The reason I say Sarah and not Newt is that I think she sees and has lived the NORMAL everyday working persons life.
I think newt has been so high on the ladder for so long that he hasn't a clue of the needs of the working women/men.
I would think he only sees the needs of those that make 100K or more a year.

I hope whoever we get that they think and work for the needs of America and NOT THE SPECIAL INTEREST.

Where is the bail-out for the small families?
Does Newt have a plan to save SS, help those that live off 10 to 60 K a year and will he PROTECT AMERICA and save us as a Christian nation as we should be.
Will he demand that those that move here go by OUR laws and speak our language?

Time will tell.
May GOD give us a helping hand at finding a new President.

By nancy512 @ Friday, June 12, 2009 10:11 AM
ericrobinson, I agree. And I believe Newt is able to make a point without a teleprompter, just using the brain.

Hot, I disagree. I think this is Newt's time. I have a feeling that people will get over the novelty of having the young, hip president who supposedly represents the "future" when they realize he's really just inexperienced and has us on a path to disaster. By the time 2012 comes, we probably won't recognize this country. The best person to lead us out of this will have to have experience, ideas and solutions, to not just dig us out of the hole, but to put us on a path to a thriving economy. Newt will certainly have a challenge waiting for him in 2013. We would be lucky to have him.
Sarah, Paul Ryan and others have brilliant futures, but maybe '12 is too soon for them? How about Sarah for Sec. of Energy in Newt's administration?

By Hot @ Friday, June 12, 2009 8:56 AM
If Newt is the republican pick for 2012 I don't think he will get elected as President.
He has been there to long and people are looking to the future for leadership. That is the reason BHO won. I will admit that the people are BLIND and HEAR only what they want to hear.
I think Newt has given his best in the fight against BHO and I hope he keeps it up.
America needs a new President in a big way but America needs a President that most of the voters will like. I don't think Newt has what most of the voters want.
I would like to see some of the rich people and well know people jump on Newts wagon to fight against the policies of BHO.
We are strong in numbers.
Right now there are only a few well known and rich speaking out against BHO. We need hundreds TOGETHER on this fight.
The American people (as a whole) are really dumb for they can't think for themselves and have to have a role model to show them who to vote for.
How many times have you heard: I'll be wasting my vote or Mr. or Ms. X are voting for a certain candidate so that's who I'm voting for.
My opinion is that Sarah should run and the republican Party should be looking for a Male candidate that most of America respects and likes to run with her.
The WOMEN of America should get on the wagon with Sarah instead of working against her.

You elected these people SO YOU MUST BE HAPPY.

By ericrobinson @ Friday, June 12, 2009 3:54 AM
Let's get serious, people. Newt is the only one who's intellectually capable of countering the bias of the mainstream media. He's the only politico out there who can convey real political truths, and real solutions, clearly and easily enough that no amount of spin or MSNBCisms can convince the American people they heard something else. The convinced them that Obama was saying something he wasn't, and that he didn't say what he had, but McCain was offering just as much empty gobbledygook, so they had to rely on the media's interpretations. Newt would crush Obama in debates, and Obama has NEVER given a speech with as much truth in it, or with as many real solutions.

By Anonymous @ Thursday, June 11, 2009 11:49 PM
No doubt Newt will win the Republican nod in 2012. HOWEVER, to have a significant chance at winning the general election he will now, right now, have to vigorously support Sotomayer for the Supreme Court solely on the basis of merit. Failing to do so is tantamount to falling into the trap set by the Democrates and will give them the ammo they need to defeat him in 2012. Presuming of course you accept the premise the Hispanic vote is pivotal.

By Anonymous @ Thursday, June 11, 2009 9:49 PM
Newt for President, I like the sound of that and anyone he picks to run with him will be an excellent choice.
Listening to this speech, twice mind you, brought tears to my eyes.Thank you

By Anonymous @ Thursday, June 11, 2009 9:43 PM
I work near what was the WTC in NYC. I witnessed that attach up close and scrambled to try and escape with my at that time, pregnant wife. The images of that day are burned in my mind, planes and buildings exploding, people jumping 110 stories because that was the better choice than the excruciating pain of having their skin burned off at 2,000 degrees, buildings falling to earth with a sound indescribable as F-16 roared across Manhattan. I also walked through the WTC the morning in February of 1993 when Al Qaeda bombed the WTC the first time trying so desperately to topple those buildings. I told many people, "they will try again" never figuring they would succeed in dropping not only a tower, but all seven buildings in the complex plus a few others. Our liberal President at the time treated the attach as a criminal act rather than a terrorist attach which it was. Our radical liberal President currently is recklessly heading down the same road at light speed even more naive knowing what we now know and for all we lost. The prisoners at Quantamino are being given Miranda rights, lawyers, some sent to tropical Islands for a cost to us taxpayers of yet another cool $200 million! Maybe some will be given book deals to express their feelings!! People like Pelosi, Reid and the like who actually have the gaul to make all this stupidity about pouring water over these top Terrorists or putting a bug in their space absolutely ferrates me and if it wasn't that my posting would be denied, my words would be much more harsh and obscene! It took a long time to sleep well at night after 9/11 only made better by seeing all the attaches thwarted and tools put in place picking off key terrorists one by one. This was solely thanks to G.W. Bush, Richard Cheney and their Administration. God Bless them for keeping us safe for seven years to follow and ridding the Earth of this scum. Needless to say, I again go to work wondering if I'll come home working in a building that is a terror target. I feel disgusted, ashamed of what America is becoming and currently not proud to be an American. Man I miss Newt, G,W, Bush, Dick Cheney and Ronald Reagan. Some times I wish America could be split into two separate sub-countries (kind of like the old U.S.S.R) the liberals on one side with their leadership, and the conservatives on the other side. We are that divided now.

By Anonymous @ Thursday, June 11, 2009 9:32 PM
Next time you make a speech, make special arrangements so that it can be recorded without the echos in the hall. This was very disappointing.

By Anonymous @ Thursday, June 11, 2009 9:05 PM
Speeches like this bring hope that this too shall pass. Lets hope & pray that this abomination will end in 2012. America can not afford, and may be unrecognizable should we have to wait eight years. Right now, our enemies are growing stronger, planning their attach, given the tools to strike at us again as the socialist breaks down all the tools President Bush put in place to protect America. Obama does not take America's security serious and many will perish. This is his top priority responsibility as President and he pushes this duty aside. The blood of all those carelessly sacrificed due to his naive and reckless policies will be on his hands - not that he cares. He cares only about his self-serving interests.

With all the abuse and disregard for the constitution done by Obama and crew, I cant believe we as citizens do not have a lawful means to cause the removal of Obama from office other than waiting for the next Presedential election. He is trampling on the constitution and our rights without consequense and acquiessence of the Congress and now the Supreme Court which refuesed to hear the Chrysler case. That ommission alone has destroyed contract law and confidence in contracts in this country. Now ouur military have been ordered to read "Miranda" to terrorist captives in Afghanistan as if they were citizens of the USA. This is madness. Is there a way to lawfully remove this President from office - Now??

Newt has been my hero for many years. He has been on target on every issue. His Contract with America in 1994 was on target and it was a shame the Republican Party did not follow through with his ideas. That was the main reason they lost in Congress. I would hope Newt would run for President and implement his ideas nation wide. Thank you Newt for your foresight and your stand on the constitution.

Uplifting to hear the painful truth's. Please notice:

As usual, Newt is right on target. However, the Republican Party has imploded and is now defunct.

The Democrat Party needs to go away and the Republican Party needs to go away.

The Republican Party is beyond repair. The Republican Party can not repair the damage that is being done by our current President by holding on to abortion as the only plank in Conservative Philosophy.

This President will make Jimmy Carter look knowledgeable, reasonable and successful.

Newt, ... a new party please ... we have time before 2010 ! ! !

Thank you Newt! I hope you don't mind, but I took a portion of your text (of course crediting you) and sent it to my democratic congressman...along with a friendly note.....in an email in which I "blind copied" a whole boat load of people. My congressman has been in the Pelosi camp despite representing an otherwise fairly conservative district. I am making it a point to "expose" his voting record and constrast that with what I believe the political sentiment is with the "common" voter in his district.

I am so upset with having to pick the lesser of two evils. The Republicans gave us a McCain (I do respect the man but not his ideals) and the two Texas carpetbaggers, Bush one and two. I watched in horror as our Federal Government, controlled by the Republicans, became the biggest pigs at the trough until this Obama administration.
I say throw the bums out, it is time for a new party!

By Hot @ Wednesday, June 10, 2009 12:46 PM
"If you don't vote, shame on you. You have no right to whine about what's happening now. Get out there and make yourself known!!!! "

That sounds good BUT in elections (President) in this country today your vote doesn't count.
The electoral vote is the one that counts and that is not your vote.
This country is so CROOKED it hurts.
They try to tell you your vote counts but just take a good look at our elections and see what crooked deals are out there.

No hope for the USA for there are far to many Liberials and voters to the left for the USA to ever be a great nation that is was in the 50's and 60's. Even then it was crooked but maybe not as bad as today.
You work hard and try to do what's right for our crooked government to only take it away and give to other countries and to those that are to sorry and lazy to work.
I say the hell with out current leaders.

When those that elected BHO and the others start to suffer then and only then may some GOOD change come to America.

You elected these people SO YOU MUST BE HAPPY.

Newt, you really disappoint me. Your belief that Colin Powell is good for the Republican Party is totally out of character.

Powell is a seditionist in the party. He doesn't support most of the platform and has done about all he could recently to see the failure of the party. His statements that we need to move to the center (left) is designed to bring about failure at the next election.

Have you lost your discernment? Or are you of the mindset that if one wants to have influence in the party, they must become more like the Democrats. Either one is heresy, in my opinion.

I used to support you and would have voted for you if you ran for President. But, given where you seem to have moved, there is no way I could support you now.

Slow down, people. You're sounding like the O fanatics while W was president - "W's bad, O will fix Everything", "We need Change, O will change everything". They are getting what they asked for, which none of us (nor most of them) actually wanted.

First, only God can save you. So let's stop looking for a political savior. Then, let's get down to business to put someone who knows they answer to a higher authority, and not their own ego, in charge of us again.
Newt has some good ideas, and putting in office someone who believes and says he will follow the same Bible based ideals that were used by the founders of this country in their design of this republic does indeed sound like the right direction. But please remember it's not just the office of the President where we need Change, it's in every seat in the House and Senate. Current laws are "of the govenment, by the government, for the government" - instead of "the people", as was the stated intent of the founders of this country. We may elect the members of both houses, but their decisions are not the will of the people who elected them, but of special interests, who wine, dine, and fund their pet projects. We need a complete changing of the guard. Everyone must be ousted and replaced with those who will, without exception, convert this country from the socialist nation it has become (yes, it is socialist in republic clothing...just take a step back and REALLY look) and go to the original structure, and intent, of our government. For those who may not understand, that means taking all the power BACK from them, so that they are absolutely limited to the powers specifically allowed them by the Constitution. With limited power, special interests willhave limited ability to affect the nation and "the people" will once more be the source and purpose of government.

The republican party had better work hard to support Newt. Obama is a disaster to the US...We are loosing all of our rights. Oil needs to be drilled and we are going the opposite direction. Go Newt!

Remarks by President Ronald Reagan in New York City Before the United Nations General Assembly Special Session Devoted to Disarmament, June 17, 1982

Mr. Secretary-General, Mr. President, distinguished delegates, ladies and gentlemen:

I speak today as both a citizen of the United States and of the world. I come with the heartfelt wishes of my people for peace, bearing honest proposals and looking for genuine progress.

My people have sent me here today to speak for them as citizens of the world, which they truly are, for we Americans are drawn from every nationality represented in this chamber today. We understand that men and women of every race and creed can and must work together for peace.

You ppl have got to be kidding me. This guy is one of the most ignorant ppl on the face of this earth. He oozes hatred and thinks our country infallible. It is certainly true that America is the greatest country in the world as well as the greatest source for human rights and freedoms. However, to think ones country incapable of wrong is very dangerous. Our country is made up of human beings just like all other countries. Our President and politicians are flawed just like every human. God teaches us this. So how then as a country do we think ourselves capable of escaping the inescapable. We are inherently flawed, as individuals and as a country. However, our ability to make course corrections whenever we find ourselves heading the wrong way is what makes us great. We can only make these course corrections if we have enough humility to realize we have veered from our path, so we must have the bravery to do this. The last country that thought it was infallible was Nazi Germany. Look at the path this took them down. Luckily no country is truly infallible, and we proved that in WWII when we smashed Hitler and is hatred filled ideology.

Since coming to faith you seem to have a little more bounce in your step, and seem to have the moral authority lead our party and maybe our nation. In my prayers..

We Americans needed this well-thought, ispirational, tough speech! I am taking notes on it from YOUTUBE. We listened to C-Span last night. We hope more leaders speak for the Republican Party and the Nation as Newt and Cheney are doing.

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 3:10 PM
Newt - that was one excellent speech! You spoke the truth that America wants to hear. I also enjoyed the comments of all the other speakers, especially Jon Voight's criticism of Obama's weaknesses.

Obama is totally wrong and out of touch on so many issues; it is truly dangerous and very frightening.

Republicans with moral courage and values back in control can't come soon enough for me. I hope they stand strong and never lose their way again.

God bless the GOP and God bless the USA.

I believe that Powell made a mistake. We've all made them. I would think that he has realized this by now. I am of the opinion that the republican party has lost it's conservative base. The Bush conservatives tried working with the democrats. It's not possible...with liberals it's thier way or nothing. Republicans...go back to your conservative ways! Our power is in our conservatism...not our by-partisanship.

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 2:45 PM
Newt,
Graduating High School in 1980 the first President I voted for was Ronald Regan. Today I still consider myself a Regan Conservative. To hear you say you're happy a RINO like Powel is part of the Republican party makes me sick and I believe Regan turn over in his grave. How can you support a person like Powel that deserted the party and supported Obama? As Republicans we had a choice of Progressive and Progressive Light last year and that was no choice at all.
If you want to make people realize they need to strive for the shinning light on the hill, then for heaven's sake let them know what the difference is. Powel is not a conservative. Our party has let us down over the last decade and has turned into a bunch of spending liberals and if they don't return to their Regan roots God only knows what our country is in for. If you're going to be a voice for us then be a strong one of the Regan principals and let people see the difference. Don't put Powell out there as a Republican we should be proud of when he's lost his way. Tell people honestly why Powell is wrong and the true direction and choice we should go back to for our future. If you can't do this, then get out of the way for someone who can.

Mr. Gingrich for President. He is honest, direct, knowledgeable, experienced, a real human being and cares for the USA and its people. After our latest experiences, he would be the greatest and best gift we could receive in our political experience.

Newt,
Back in the early '90's I was just graduating from High School and I was inspired by the reformer who had taken back the House and lead us forward. Today that leadership is missing in Washington and I want you to know that your country needs you to serve once again to restore the shining city on the hill to its former glory as established by the Gipper.

Newt, I respectfully ask that you run for President in 2012 and I offer any assistance you need within my means to deliver to make it happen.

NEWT 2012!!!!

I'm so proud of our Republican Party for standing strong and speaking the truth, not as we want it too be, but as it is. I would love to see a ticket with Newt and Palin....or the other way around even...either way...it's a winner and the only way too pull us out of this mess that obama goverment has gotten us into.....way to go Sir.

Finally from the ashes of the republican party arises a spokesman with conviction, strength, and a willingness to say to the Democrats "you are wrong:. From the movie "Braveheart: the cry of ;FREEDOM" echoes. No fetters from the government of higher taxes, impede commerce with the environmental psuedo-science, and the attempt to control all aspects of our lives. FREEDOM. that wonderful word now echoes from a great speech from Mr. Gingrich

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 12:49 PM
Can I get a written copy of Speaker Gingrich's speech at fundraiser on June 8th?
Thank goodness for Net Gingrich.

Thank you for the speech. Is there a text version available for download?

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 12:43 PM
Brilliant! This is hope and change I can believe in. Everytime Newt speaks, I am impressed. Run, Newt, run.

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 12:33 PM
I do not understand why Republicans can not fully support Newt for President since he is responsibloe for bringing us control of our government in a great number of years. Please support Newt!!

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 12:14 PM
My wife and I (in our mid 80"s) thouight your speach was terrific AND we hope that your plans will save this country for our grandchindren and great grandchildren.

We would be very happy to see you head the Repubilican ticket in 2012. As a retired Navy vet, please help heek the country safe.

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 12:10 PM
I want to thank Newt for an outstanding speech last night that I could not turn off. It was the best thesis of the conservative approach to fixing this country - a perfect "blueprint" that I would love to get a copy of. If there is a charge, I would be happy to pay for it. Please let me know how to obtain a copy.

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 11:44 AM
What a great, comprehensive overview of principles. Is it possible to get a copy for reference, or a summary of talking points?

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 11:27 AM
If there were ever any doubt where the REAL leadership of the Republican Party is, those doubts would be systematically dismantled after viewing and listening to this speech! Let me be the first to say: McCain/Palin was the WRONG ticket! It should have been Gingrich/Boehner or SHOULD BE!

By Anonymous @ Tuesday, June 09, 2009 10:35 AM
Newt has been my hero for many, many years. The Contract with America and before. I watched your speech and once again you proved that you are a true American, but you have the plans or the beginning of the plans that will save this country for my Grandchildren. I will be campaigning and working tea parties to get out the vote for 2010 and to bring the message to everyone. We are Americans and there is no need to apologize. There is a need to get out and vote the scoundrels out and people that will make sure we don't turn into part of Europe. Thanks Newt, for your dedication and patriotism.
