| Gingrich Foundation Presents Annual Gift to Luther College |

DECORAH, IA—The Gingrich Foundation has presented its annual gift to the Newt L. and Callista L. Gingrich Scholarship Fund at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Established in 2005, this endowment provides annual scholarships for instrumental music majors studying piano, organ, or wind instruments.
"Speaker Gingrich and Mrs. Gingrich have visited Luther a number of times,” said Luther College President, Richard Torgerson. “It is always a joy because they spend time with students and faculty and attend concerts and recitals. It is also an honor to have the Gingrich Scholarship fund at Luther. Their interest and support is very much appreciated."
“Newt and I are delighted to provide assistance to talented and hardworking students at Luther College,” said Callista Gingrich. “The Gingrich Foundation is honored to support higher education and the performing arts.”
A graduate of Luther College, Callista Gingrich is the President of the Gingrich Foundation and President of Gingrich Productions in Washington, D.C. Speaker Newt Gingrich is the General Chairman of American Solutions for Winning the Future, Chairman of the Gingrich Group, and Founder of the Center for Health Transformation in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia.
Luther College is an undergraduate liberal arts institution of 2,600 students in Decorah, Iowa, offering more than 60 majors leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree. An independent, residential college, Luther is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
