If I was Iran's supreme leader and I watched this interview where Newt openly states we should sabotage Iran’s refinery and I saw how the United States treats North Korea and Pakistan…I would logically think that Iran should get nuclear weapons as soon as possible. It seems that until you have nuclear weapons the United States won’t leave you alone. Why is it that they hate us again? Oh yeah, they hate us cause we’re free. I remember now.

Fantastic interview. Clearly outlining the views of conservatism and what we should be striving for in the USA. Wanting people to work and giving them the motivation is not as simple as "taking single teenage mothers off welfare". Creating these straw man arguments is a favorite tactic of the left.

Congrats Newt for a very interesting, honest and professional interview.

Every government elected person has got FEEE handouts from the government.
Where do we start to clean this mess up?

I can tell you. NEVER VOTE FOR THE SAME PERSON TWICE.

Ask Newt if he is getting or has gotten any free handouts? You may be surprized if he can answer honestly.

If you can't beat them JOIN THEM. Rip off the system anyway you can.
It's the way the government teaches us.
You know, don't do as I do, do as I say do.

You elected these people SO YOU MUST BE HAPPY.

“No, I’ve called for sabotage..” Great stuff Newt.. lol.

As someone who started with nothing and worked my butt off for everything I have - I can say I’d rather be a “working poor” person than be on welfare. The interviewer’s cynicism said so much about the Left’s attitude and their desire to create victims, rather than empower individuals. Nobody is above hard work. I have no sympathy for people who happily take govt handouts (or family handouts) but then say they’re too good to work for min wage. BS!!

The sooner we oust this current regime the better - they are on a mission to create a nation of victims.

Wow. That was hardcore.

Newt, my hat is off to you for staying disciplined throughout. Your assertions were solid.

We've got a tough road ahead, don't we.

Hey, I've started a little blog on civics and political thought. Only two entries so far. Would love to have readers' viewership and participation.

Best wishes,

Great interview, Newt. I wonder, if the President could have handled such an openly hostile interviewer with such dignity, or been able to offer more than stuttering and hum-hawing, without a teleprompter, or having the questions ahead of time.
