| How would Obama deal with Paine? |

In my spare time, I dabble in writing historical fiction. Lately, I've been thinking of an interesting alternative history: How would the Obama White House deal with Thomas Paine?
Paine was, of course, the most influential writer of the American Revolution. As historian William Forstchen and I detail in our new novel To Try Men's Souls: A Novel of George Washington and the Fight for American Freedom, George Washington had Paine's words read to his troops as they boarded boats to cross the Delaware River before their victory at Trenton.
"These are the times that try men's souls," Paine wrote. "The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman."
But before Paine wrote these words, he wrote Common Sense, a pamphlet that was so pivotal in changing American minds about independence that it has been called "the 47 pages that changed America."

My previous post was about House Race in N.Y. Perhaps a technician can remove these posts?
Democrat Bill Owens, a Plattsburgh lawyer and retired Air Force captain, is also running. An Oct. 15 survey by Siena College showed Owens with 33 percent, Scozzafava with 29 percent and Hoffman with 23 percent. The poll of 617 likely voters had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
Scozzafava has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, but she's been criticized by some conservatives for her support for abortion rights, same-sex marriage and other issues.

This is almost unbelievable NRA & Gingrich A Newly Converted Catholic endorsing a pro abortion pro queer ticket? Abortion is "inherent evil", why the disconnect so soon with the Catholic Church. Perhaps you were not in complete union when you decided to convert? What did you convert? Was converting for political histrionics? I can understand the NRA as they are neutered in their purpose and scope - but you? This appears that you are exploiting the power of The Church, for your own personal gains and or an attempt with your notoriety to relativize the Church's Social Standing. Consider that abortion is an immediate excommunication which requires confession to be reunited with Her.
I pray this was an over sight as with it comes real consequences in social perceptions. I noticed a book you wrote titled, "Real Change".
