The combination of a conservative republican in Gingrich and the liberal democrat Sharpton is “very surprising” admitted Sharpton, but pointed out they were will to put aside their differences at Obama’s call to join hands to emphasize the plight of public education in the United States. Gingrich is confirmed for a full day of activities on November 3, beginning in Montgomery with stops at the Rosa Parks Museum and Carver Senior High School. The schedule will shift to Macon County with Sharpton arriving to join Gingrich at a luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. at the Sportsbook Restaurant at VictoryLand in Shorter. Following that gathering, Sharpton has another commitment and will leave the tour with Gingrich visiting the Multicultural Center in Tuskegee at 2:20 p.m. before moving on to the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site and Museum at Moton Field at 3 p.m.
