Obama's small business tax credit seems to
be a more direct approach to increasing jobs. Income taxes just reduce taxes for
people on a pension or retirement savings
that do not run a business. So an income tax is wasted on them in terms of short term jobs because those persons do not have a business often. The Obama tax break, however, is isolated to certain people so not everyone in USA gets any advantage. So certain areas of midwest could see benefits and northeast not as much because various factors, etc.

If the GOVT has everyones tax records then wouldn't it be logical to just contact
the "unemployed and underemplyed"
directly and offer GOVT opportunities and
recommend other jobs in private sector to
those people. Reach out and commm with
people who are out of luck, anotherwords
instead of asking them to beg with their
head tcuked.... .

The Unions seem to want to drive out the
temp-workers and part time workers since
those workers are not part of the Union.
So these people are cut first by every org.
including the GOVT services sector.

Also, if the GOVT restricted working hours more then that might level the playing field more. So 30 hours or less restriction means
businesses have to hire more employees to make up for their total loss of hours of work. What might happen is less overtime
for one guy and more work for a temp or
part time employee because he makes up
for the "less than 40 hours" restrictions.

they dont want to stopillegal immagration, if they did, if a business that hired illegals lose their business, if hired at ur house lose ur home, 2 weeks it would be over, dems want the votes, repubs want cheap labor, and the conservatives are scared

Lower the depreciation rate on investment real estate to 18% or 20% and you will see a flurry of real estate investment activity.

Allow 1 to 2 year full depreciation of plant production machinery plus a tax credit on major specified equipment purchases over $10,000 by companies that purchase to increase their product production. These will generate the greatest and quickest jobs activity. It was used in the past successfully and it will work again. Drop all plans for further stimulus programs that allow citizens to get further in debt. Some of the folks who took advantage of the Cash for Clunkers program were driving clunkers for a reason. By participating in the program they were pushed further into debt.

Jobs!!!!! I hear all kind of solution , None about drilling Just imagine ! or 2 Refineries a pipeline from Alaska the work this would create The royalty to the struggling farmer in the mid west Not to mention a cut in revenue to the Arab nation whom finance the terrorist what is wrong with this idia?

Newt's book "Real Change" is a fantastic read, and it will give you the Speakers' views on numerous issues. As being self employed Obama's stupid $5,000 tax credit for every person you hire, if you do not have the demand then you won't hire. Common Sense has been lost in our Great Country, and unless we get people back to Common Sense and Moral Values, changing will be a steep uphill battle.

I tyhink everyone should read your book Real Change and they will understand where you stand. I commend you for bringing out the real truth. I was raised in the 30's where the poitial machines were strong and that strength needs to be removed. Keep on the right track.

You have an amazing ability to come up with creative ideas, and solutions to real problems faced in our nation. We have a number of people who are eloquent and charismatic, and give great speeches filled with inspiring rhetoric. You, however, go beyond the rhetoric and provide thoughtful, original ideas. I would love to have you serve as our President. However, whatever you have in mind for the future, please continue to use your creative genious for the good of our nation.

I do not notice Obamas priorities at work.Is the definition of Liberal Corrupt?I think it may be since there must be corruption where ther eare no priorities.I believe the majority of the Americans needs and wants should be met.Who needs guest workers and illegal aliens.Who wants debt passed on to future generations?

I agree with anonymous on the illegal immigration. That does need to be address and something needs to be done. I do believe our jobs and deficit situation is priority right now, but, nonetheless, our immigration situation should be in the top 5! Mr Gingrich please take heed. Start working on this too. In fact, it would be a good topic to try to find some solutions for. That has fallen by the wayside and is seldom mentioned anymore, however it remains to pose a monolithic threat to our freedom and what we stand for. Let me retract, it needs to be in the top 3! Oh, by the way, to be more stringent on immigration would create more jobs.

I have yet to hear anyone talk about illegal immigration. Nor do they mention the 150 thousand "guest workers" who are allowed into this country every month. 85% of Americans say NO AMNESTY yet this govt. is still talking AMNESTY. When is this govt. going to put Americans first?
