Sixth largest economy in the world – California – due in great part to petroleum and all it offers and the Kaliforneea Governor says “No Drilling” like his Democrat-Socialist pals in Congress.

If you want to know who will win the RACE for President NOW – in June, 2008 you need to look no further than the Socialist Brown v. RINO DeWine in the Court of Public Opinion called the “Ohio General Election Senate Race of 2006”. 

“The question is, which one of us is the most likely in the future to get things done on a bipartisan basis and make things happen for the state? I have a record of doing that.  I’m the only one who can work across party lines to get things done."

No, those are not the words of RINO “Old Spice” McCain, but that of (now “Former” Senator) Mike RINO “Senate Gang of 14 Member” DeWine in May 2006.  

Forgetting that he was swept into office due to the efforts of CONSERVATIVE Republican Newt Gingrich’s Contract With America in 1994, DeWine had served with non-distinction for 12 years as an Ohio Senator.

When it was all said and done, after Socialist Brown’s Victory over Another Also-Ran RINO, it wasn’t that Brown was “that good” – it was that RINO DeWine’s Campaign was “That Bad!”

The Democrats did help their cause.  In February, 2006 – sensing a RINO vulnerability in Ohio, Chuck Schumer, Democrat Senate Reelection Committee Head & Harry “The Scary” Reid, Senate Whoreity Leader – literally “kicked out” of the Ohio Democrat Senate Race, Paul Hackett, a Marine Officer, Iraq Veteran, lawyer, and another liberal “(President) Bush Hater”.  Hackett called President Bush, in public, worse things than Scary Reid’s “Liar” and “ a Loser” comments.

Reid, Schumer and Other Democrat-Socialists preferred to have the “known” qualities of Socialist Sherrod Brown (who names their kid “Sherrod” anyway?  I digress) so they kicked-out Paul Hackett - February of 2006.

February, 2006 was the last month that DeWine had a 9 point lead over Brown (Rasmussen Poll).  By July, it was all Sherrod Brown in the polls and the final election result was 42% for RINO DeWine and 44% for Socialist Brown.  Neither had anywhere near a majority of Ohio voters. 

This was one of Six Close Senate Races that year that Newt Gingrich described as Republicans going 0-for-6.

Most Social Conservatives and Evangelicals, the “Workhorses” for ANY Republican Victory in most States and Across the Nation, either stayed home or didn’t vote in that Senate Race. If they made it to the polls, they voted – they just didn’t vote the Ohio Senate Race.

After his last day in the Senate, DeWine became a teacher at a small town Ohio College until his very good friend and fellow RINO from the State of Arizona needed an Ohio Campaign Chairman for the “Old Spice” McCain Campaign ’08.

“Independent” voters more often than not – don’t spend much time concerned with a set of core values and principles they live by daily – therefore, they wait for candidates to tell them.  This lack of a core normally leads to a left of center vote cast.

Now comes RINO “Old Spice” McCain v. A Big-Government Socialist with a Muslim Name.

With little chance of Old Spice changing positions about drilling for oil in “Pristine” ANWR based on “National Defense” & the “High price of Gasoline”, the odds of having a Big Government Socialist as President are good.

Democrat-Socialist & RINOs bet on voters having a short memory based on no core values (i.e. Rev.Wright, Bomber Ayers, et al) whereas Conservatives often mistake voters having a memory past the sour grapes they just had for lunch. 

With no core values or principles, the “Independent” voters will abandon McCain in September or October Crunch Time when it becomes apparent that the Big Government Socialist with a Muslim Name is ahead in the polls. 

McCain will then reach out to the Conservative & Evangelicals for support but it will be too late.

That’s just it, you are not conservative, and if you are Reagan smart – you would not seek the bipartisan, reach across the isle, indecisive, comprehensive independent vote either.

My comments that follow are unsolicited but with such dubious choices for U.S. President, I needed a positive outlet for my campaign efforts this year. 

As an Average American Serf, I’m Fortunate to Live In Conservative Steve Chabot’s U.S. House District (1^st District Ohio).  Never flashy, always dependable and Steve actually serves the district folks that elected him.

Beyond his high ratings as an Anti-Tax Hawk, Conservative Values & Pro America Agenda, what most impressed me about Steve Chabot was what I saw with my own eyes one early, quiet Saturday morning about two years ago.

With light traffic and virtually few people out and about at the time, I saw U.S. Representative Steve Chabot himself, unloading a few boxes he had in the back seat of his personal 1993 Buick out in front of his campaign headquarters in Cheviot, Ohio.   You would have thought that there would be staffers or volunteers unloading boxes from a huge SUV but no, Steve, early morning, ’93 Buick, backseat boxes. 

I already supported Steve Chabot in Congress but that event really confirmed “why” for me.  Humble enough to unload his own boxes and I guess humble enough to serve us in the 1^st U.S. House District. 

No different than you or I, Steve is a person doing what it takes to be successful.   This guy deserves my support and my vote.  I know Steve Chabot fights for us against the Washington Global Elites.

ROSS TWP. — He touched on several major national issues — the economy, immigration, the war in Iraq — but it was when U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot mentioned gas prices that local residents' heads began to nod.

Chabot, whose congressional district includes much of Cincinnati and all of Morgan, Reily, Ross and Hanover townships in Butler County, spoke to roughly 50 residents at Ross High School Monday night, June 2.

Chabot called for the government to open oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska, and natural gas drilling in the ocean on America's continental shelf. He said he's voted to open the ANWR to oil drilling 11 times in 14 years, and been defeated every time.

"The number one reason (gas prices are so high) is we are too reliant upon foreign sources of energy," Chabot said.

He also called for relaxed restrictions on oil refineries and nuclear power plants.

Wow.  There is someone in Washington that thinks “America First” is a good idea.

I encourage all Conservatives in America to find a Conservative U.S. House Representative, a Conservative U.S. Senator or Conservative candidates for these offices and support them in anyway that you can.  I’m lucky to have such a quiet and constant conservative in my backyard.
