Gov Bag-O-Chip's Trial is coming up |
|
|
Get the popcorn ready as this is going to be one hell of a show. I'm working on special to cover this thing like the media refuses to cover. Did you know that Joe Biden has ties to Rezko? Mr. Ginzu Guy Rahm Emmanual also has ties. We know the Obama's ties but what about Jarrett? What about Obama's golfing partner, Dr. Kickback. Yes, a bomber can attempt to blow up a plane and Obama doesn't even care. Yet, Dr. Kickback's son gets a scrape on his chin and Obama is speeding to the scene.
Coming soon. |

My Brother Tom (He ain't heavy but he'll boot you down if you try to mess with his freedom.) just started a new site. We are about our country. We don't want Government messing arong with us. Give us our Freedom and We'll give you the best damn nation on earth. When Obama talked about change, he was talking about the change in our children's piggy bank.
Check out Tom's site and say hello. Descent is always welcomed but be warned, the man is a history buff (Newt, that's a challenge, try him).
To Wally, Jeff, Money Penny, and the rest of ya. Please stop in and say hello. Merry Christmas and lets get the party started.

Chuck DeVore for Senate 2010 |
|
|
Dear Friends,
2010 is the year of the return of the Ronald Reagan Conservatives and the time is upon us to take to the trenches, grow the grassroots, and throw our support behind candidates that are for fiscal responsibility, a strong national defense, and lower taxes. We must reach outside of our states to support candidates that hold “WE THE PEOPLE” higher in rank than “WE THE BANK”.
Time and time again, I see a sound candidate get pushed aside by the RNCC because “they don’t have the money” or they “Have no name recognition”. This is not a solicitation for donations, I’m just pointing out how it is. It’s time that we get together and work hard to get the real leaders we need elected.
I have found one such candidate. Meet Chuck DeVore. http://www.chuckdevore.com/index.asp
He’s a California Assemblyman, Family Man, Conservative, Vet, worked for Ronald Reagan, author, sometimes comedian, and much more. I’ve been following him and I’m committed to get him to the Senate. Chuck Devore is a tireless campaigner making appearances all around the state while continuing to fight for the people of California to keep our taxes low. He is a fighter and I hope you will join me and help him defeat Barbra Boxer.
(Matt, please make sure Newt checks out DeVore’s site. He might want him as a V.P. Pick, he’s that solid)
Show Boxer the Door, Support Chuck DeVore.

America, we have a problem. |
|
|
|
This is an email I just received from my friend in Poland. She's extremely concerned.
Hello Johnny - did you hear that the important politics of Middle Europe like Lech Walesa, Aleksander Kwasniewski ,Vaclav Havel, Valdas Adamkus or Andriej Sacharov have sent the official letter to President Obama .
We , who are living in the Middle Europe are afraid that the current Obama’s government politics will cause some big problems for us . You now , the present President and his government doesn’t remember European’s countries fight of freedom – very hard fight , and our trials to break loose from the Russia ( USSR) dominance .
We are sure now , after the Obama’s talks in Russia that there will not be any missile shield in Poland .
We really are afraid what will be in future, it seems like Russia wants to get the domination once again. And Obama will accept it to have no any problems with Russia . But he is wrong .
You know the politics rules - so tell me what do you think about it ?
The worst is that the American resignation of the missile shield in Poland will definitely impar our believe to America as the ally. Oh it’s so terrible.
But there is the weekend soon , so I want to wish you good relax and great time .
End Letter:
It's sad to see all that Reagan worked for go right out the window in less than 6 months.

Is Wally the only one that knows how to hit the comment section? Bumping this just to find out!
Doug McIntyre held his rally today along with Danielle Bologna and the Shaw family and a crowd of people showed up pushing for Jamiel’s Law to get a vote by the council. During this rally, Doug mentioned that he had official word from Weiss’ office (he’s the one holding it up) said they plan on discussing the matter in October. Although the year was not mentioned one can hope that he’s talking about this year, but then again, this is Los Angeles and things could get put off. That tax on the plastic bags could shelve it again.
What we need to do is start pushing for a national version of Jamiel’s law. We need to call our elected officials in order to put a stop to the illegal invader gang bangers. It’s not just here in Los Angeles but all over the country.
WE NEED ALL THE COURTS TO COMPLY WITH DEPORTING CRIMINAL INVADERS!!!
You see, this story in the link sickens me beyond all belief. She was 12 and that didn’t need to happen to her. If Denver followed the laws and reported this POS, the rape would not have happened.
THINK THE PROBLEM IS NOT BAD? LOOK AT THIS FOR AWHILE
I’m John Ansell and I’m not going to stop until we get action from our puppets, err Politicians. La Raza may be able to buy our politicians like McAmnesty and Obamination, but they can’t buy me.

CHICAGO, Oct 30, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Attorney Dan K. Webb stated that his client Bill Cellini "is completely innocent of these charges, and he will fight this case because he has done absolutely nothing wrong. Bill has lived an exemplary life as a successful businessman and devoted husband and father, and he will not allow his reputation to be damaged by these unfair and unjust charges. Bill is confident that a jury will find him not guilty.
"A stronger version of these same allegations was presented to the Rezko jury, and the jury sent a strong message to the government -- a not guilty verdict. The Rezko jury returned a not guilty verdict because the allegations were not supported by any credible evidence.

For those of you that don't know Illinois Politics, a story broke that is getting very little coverage. Full disclosure, I'm a fan of the guy and have to say that he's helped my family in the past as did my grandfather help him get his start in politics. McCain is an idiot for not pushing this story full throttle. Yes, He's a REPUBLICAN "POWER BROKER" but he also knows when to support the other side. Like Durbin, Like Obama. He and his family are in my prayers, but damn, this is politics and McCain should take advantage in the 11th hour. Just a little digging into the TRS (Teachers Retirement System) you'll have enough to sink Obama pre election. I still think, if the media does their job and looks into this, Obama will not be sworn in.
Now, Meet "The Pope"
Cellini accused of campaign fund extortion
STAFF and WIRE REPORTS
Posted Oct 30, 2008 @ 01:02 PM
Last update Oct 30, 2008 @ 05:45 PM
CHICAGO (AP) - A major Illinois power broker was indicted Thursday on charges of conspiring with convicted influence peddler Antoin "Tony" Rezko to shake down an investment firm for campaign contributions to embattled Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
William Cellini Sr., 73, for decades one of the biggest behind-the-scenes Republican players in Illinois politics, was charged as part of Operation Board Games - an ongoing federal investigation of corruption in the Blagojevich administration.
Blagojevich hasn't been charged with any wrongdoing and was not even mentioned by name in the indictment, which referred to him only as Public Official A.
"The governor was not involved in the improper activities alleged in the indictment," Blagojevich spokesman Lucio Guerrero said Thursday.
During Rezko's trial earlier this year, Judge Amy J. St. Eve and witnesses identified Blagojevich as Public Official A. The charges in Thursday's indictment essentially add Cellini as a participant in the same extortion conspiracy alleged in the Rezko case. Rezko was acquitted of extortion but convicted of fraud and other counts.
Cellini's indictment comes weeks after Rezko began talking with federal prosecutors in hopes of getting a lighter sentence for his June conviction on charges of scheming to squeeze payoffs from a contractor and money management firms seeking state business. But there was nothing to indicate how much, if any, of what he said led to Thursday's charges.
The indictment said admitted fixer Stuart Levine, the government's star witness at Rezko's trial, also was part of the alleged conspiracy.
Rezko's name has made its way into the presidential race because Sen. Barack Obama was one of many Illinois politicians for whom he raised money. Obama has been accused of no wrongdoing and was barely mentioned in Rezko's trial, but the connection has proven an embarrassment. Just this week, the McCain campaign acknowledged using robo-calls and direct mail to point out the relationship to potential voters. Obama gave about $159,000 from Rezko-related contributions to charity.
Cellini was charged in the four-count indictment Thursday with using political clout to threaten to block a $220 million allocation of state pension money for Capri Capital, a real estate investment firm owned by Hollywood producer Thomas Rosenberg.
The indictment said the millionaire lobbyist-businessman told Rosenberg in May 2004 he would not get the lucrative state business from the pension board because he had not come up with a contribution to the Blagojevich campaign fund.
It said, however, that Cellini and the other alleged plotters backed down after Rosenberg threatened to blow the whistle about the plan to federal investigators.
In the end, Capri got its allocation.
Defense attorney Dan K. Webb issued a statement Thursday saying Cellini "is completely innocent of these charges and he will fight this case because he has done absolutely nothing wrong."
Webb, a nationally prominent defense attorney who also was former Gov. George H. Ryan's lawyer at his racketeering and fraud trial, noted that while the jury convicted Rezko on other charges it acquitted him of attempting to extort Rosenberg.
"The evidence is the same today as it was then and it is disappointing that this indictment has now been brought without additional evidence," Webb said.
The indictment also revived another allegation that surfaced at Rezko's trial - that there was a plan to have U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald removed from his post in an effort to block the investigation. One witness testified that Rezko told them White House political director Karl Rove would be involved in the removal.
Another simply said Rezko simply mentioned a plan to remove Fitzgerald.
Rove said through an attorney at the time that he had never heard of such a plan and Springfield lobbyist Bob Kjellander, who also was mentioned as a possible participant, said he had never known about or taken part in any such effort.
But the new indictment says in the summer and fall of 2004, Cellini, Rezko and others discussed the possibility of having Fitzgerald ousted from his post.
Cellini was once secretary of transportation and as such presided over millions of dollars in state road-building contracts under Gov. Richard B. Ogilvie. Until recent weeks, he served as treasurer of the Sangamon County Republican Party.
He is executive director of the Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association - a major component of the road-building lobby - and made a fortune in real estate investments with his company, Commonwealth Realty Advisors, which did business with the state.
According to the indictment, Commonwealth Realty Advisors was scheduled to get a $220 million allocation from the $40 billion Illinois Teachers Retirement System at the same time Capri was to get its money to invest for the big pension fund.
Commonwealth issued a statement after the indictment saying Cellini left the board in 1992. Company spokesman Dennis Colloton said Cellini owns no portion of the company but that two adult Cellini children each own 37.5 percent of Commonwealth.
Much of Cellini's influence as a behind-the-scenes mover and shaker has stemmed from his ability to raise campaign funds, not only for his fellow Republicans but also for Democrats when it suited him.
Federal prosecutors indicated Cellini would be summoned at an unspecified date to answer the charges.
If convicted, Cellini would face maximum sentences of five years for conspiracy to commit mail fraud, 20 years each for extortion conspiracy and attempted extortion and 10 years for soliciting a bribe. Each count carries a maximum fine of $250,000.

Well I've got to give it to Gov. Bag-o-chips |
|
|
|
He really shook up the machine in Chicago and in Springfield. Think about it, you have a lawless Governor committing a lawful act in appointing Burris to Obama's seat and now all he ll is going to hit the fan. SOS White will not sign off on it but all Burris has to do is go to court. The court, seeing that the Gov. has a duty to fill that seat, and did it legally, will award the seat to Burris. It gets better than that.
Rahm is resigning his seat in 5 days or so and it's the Gov.'s duty to select a date for a special election. Will the Politicians recognize the date the Gov. sets?
Then we have congressman Bobby Rush, good friend of Dick Durbin and the only man to defeat Obama (they want to talk about a landslide with the Obama/McCain race then the Rush/Obama election was Armageddon) Dick Durbin, being 2nd to Reid, is placed in one heck of a spot.
AS I HAVE POINTED OUT MANY TIMES BEFORE, DURBIN NEEDS TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS! (Newt, don't you have his number?)
Question 1, Now that we know the conversation you had with Gov. Bag-O-Chips was on tape, what did you mean when you said the person that replaces Obama must be able to raise a lot of money?
Question 2, Do you still stand by your word that the phone call only lasted 15 minutes when you claimed to have discussed the pros and cons of about 20 different people?
Question 3, When you were on the stage opening up the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, who else was on that stage and are any of them involved with the Rezko pay to play scheme?
Man, I have to hand it to Gov. Bag-O-Chips. He's going down swinging and he's not even close to getting started. But this heymaker hit a whole bunch of people and now he's got their attention.

That’s your alarm clock, Main Stream Media, and it doesn’t have a snooze button. Wake up and cover this story pronto.
I mean honestly, how do you ignore Sen. Dick (with a capital D) Durbin admitting that he talked to Gov. Bag-O-Chips for 15 minutes with regard to Dear Leader’s senate seat? He must have been straight to the point because they discussed “10-15-20” people to replace Dear Leader in just 15 minutes. WHERE’S THE TAPE????
Tap Tap Tap, (no that’s not Larry Craig at the door) the American people are rapping at your door. It’s said that the majority of people die in their beds, so you better hurry and wake up before it’s too late. What little life the MSM has is counting on NON Biased NEWS. Cover the story like you would if it were a Republican.

A Conservative for Freedom, a real Schock(er) |
|
|
|
I'M SCHOCKED THAT A DEM GOT 38% OF THE VOTE especially in the 18th district in Illinois. Aaron Schock, 27, won the congressional seat that was held by Ray LaHood and in what could have been an easy win for the Democrats, I’m happy that a Conservative held ground. One of the things that brought me to following Aaron, was that when he first started running he made a political “mistake”. A MISTAKE I WOULD GLADLY MAKE. He said that America would stand by the side of Freedom. Yes, a Mistake I would make. STAND BY THE SIDE OF FREEDOM. Now before you join me in making this “mistake”, understand that I’m talking about the Freedom of Taiwan, Formosa the betrayed.
Are Americans truly for Freedom around the world or are we all talk? The 18th district spoke. Now gather around and let’s work for freedom. OR ELSE STOP SAYING THAT WE ARE FOR FREEDOM

Does anybody know? |
|
|

Is A.I.G hiring? You see I figure that it’s not looking good for the Christmas bonuses this year and I figured that I’m qualified to work for upper management at A.I.G., after all, I have a college degree; worked in management positions for fortune 500 companies, ran some of my own businesses, etc. etc.. I can put on a suit and tie and can tolerate going to endless meetings where they save minutes yet waste hours. I can even make some boneheaded decisions that will cost the company millions of dollars while mysteriously my friend’s “bank accounts” seem to grow at proportional levels. If needed, I’ll fly to luxury resorts and will try my very best to shoot par (I’ll put in a request for golf lessons to help me achieve this goal, if you know Tiger Woods’ number, please also let me know), get massages, and undergo stress therapy all in a single week. In order to completely please the top management at A.I.G. I will also toss money straight into the trash without having any guilt.
Thanks for any help you can provide. I’m feeling pretty confident about landing a job with them.

I get these little reports every single day and this one just struck me. I'm seeing that the markets all over the world are hurting, as it's just not America's market. Well here's the article for you. Sorry I don't have a link as these thing come in as is.

Reality Check:
Sep US Import, Export Vols Sag, Port Offls Say
NEW YORK Nov 10 (MNI) - Containerized export volumes dropped in September from August at several major U.S. ports, suspending at least temporarily a strengthening course in place for the last year, while imports continued to weaken, flouting the usual peak holiday shipping trend, according to port officials.
The U.S. economic slowdown appears to be affecting trends in both directions, with flagging domestic consumption stunting imports of Asian-made consumer goods as well as Asia's thirst for U.S. raw materials and component parts, port officials said. Europe's ailing economies also appear to be less hungry for Asia's products, which may
further dampen U.S. exports. And the dollar's upward trajectory since July may be adding to the deceleration of U.S. export growth, pricing outbound goods higher than previously.
The oil import bill could help narrow the U.S. trade deficit in September. The dollar value of petroleum imports may sink 16.1% in September from August, on falling crude oil and petro product prices and crude import volumes, according to John Felmy, chief economist at the American Petroleum Institute, a trade association for the oil and gas industry. Steeper price declines in October should outweigh increased import volumes to produce an overall 12.7% drop in the oil import bill vs. September, Felmy's preliminary calculations indicate.
At the nation's two largest container ports, Los Angeles and Long Beach, Calif., exports tanked by double digit percentages in September vs. August, and port officials said that while it's premature to call this the start of a downward trend, the context does suggest a bleak outlook.
"After so many months of weakening shipments to us, how many more raw materials does Asia actually need?" said Art Wong, spokesman for the Port of Long Beach, which also saw export volumes decline by about 4% vs. last September. "For many, many months in a row exports have grown, and this the first monthly drop for the two ports. I'll be watching to see if September is a sign that the economies overseas are starting to slow down, as well."
Boxed imports to Long Beach, meanwhile, fell 1.4% vs. August and nearly 16% vs. September 2007, according to port statistics.
"In better peak seasons, we would see a surge in imports beginning as early as July," Wong said. "This year, the numbers have been very weak. I don't see how imports are going to pick up until the economy improves a little."
He said Long Beach should continue to post soggy numbers through the winter.
"It's going to be a gloomy period here for a few months."
Across the sprawling harbor complex, exports from the Port of Los Angeles are probably taking a hit from a confluence of negative dynamics, said Jim MacLellan, the port's director of trade services.
Along with softer U.S. and European import demand and the dollar's recent rise, a shortage of export-ready containers in the Midwest and increases in certain ocean carriers' rates may be eroding U.S. exports, he said.
"I think we can safely say that we're starting to see something happen that is disturbing," MacLellan said. "I'd like to see another two months' data at least, but the large number of factors here is very factual."
Los Angeles
did post a 5.7% gain in September containerized exports vs. a year ago, but imports dropped by 8.5% on the month and by 9% on the year.
"Maxed-out credit cards, maxed-out home loans and negative values in some homes are not exactly motivating a furnishing frenzy," he said. Home furnishings are a large component of U.S. imports. "Even if people are doing well, they're holding their cash for a rainy day."
MacLellan said L.A.'s peak season volumes probably won't meet last year's levels. And year to date, volume of all filled boxes in both directions is off by at least 5% vs. 2007, he said.
Future data may also reveal whether the southern California port complex is losing market share to other docks due to the Oct. 1 implementation of a clean-truck program, which bans rigs that are more than 20 years old and imposes an administrative fee on the companies whose goods are coming and going from the busy West Coast harbor.
Separately, APL, a leading container shipping firm, announced in late October it will significantly reduce capacity in its Asia-Europe and trans-Pacific routes. Maersk Line has also announced it will reduce its Asia-Europe capacity, beginning in November.
On the East Coast, the Marylandport of Baltimore booked double-digit increases in September's containerized imports vs. August and a year ago, while exports were just about flat.
Ben Lieberman, the port's market planning manager, said Baltimore will probably show positive results for the year, but that could change in early 2009.
"The whole news cycle for finance is much more rapid than for the maritime industry, which ponders along on slow boats from China," Lieberman said. "Everything you see -- from lousy financial news to predictions of a horrible retail season -- suggests the fourth quarter will herald the weakness that we'll see more of in the coming year."
Two higher-value sectors for Baltimore, autos and pricey roll-on/roll-off equipment, posted import declines and export increases in September.
"I suspect financing has something to do with the ro-ro slowdown," Lieberman said, referring to sharply tighter credit terms. "People don't pay cash for this stuff."
He said auto and ro-ro imports took the first hit because the U.S. economy's deterioration led the global slowdown.
"I expect exports are going to start to taper off."
Back on the West Coast, the Port of Oakland, Calif. saw mixed results in September. Imports fell nearly 6% vs. 2007 but rose more than 3% vs. August 2008, while exports dropped roughly 4% vs. last year and were about steady with August volumes, according to port data.
Year to date through September, Oakland's imports fell 6.1%, but its exports rose 6.8%.
At the Port of Portland, Oregon, containerized volumes all firmed in September, except for imports vs. September 2007, which fell about 5%, according to port statistics. Year to date, however, Portland has seen a 2.1% decline in boxed imports and a nearly 10% drop in exports.
Portland
's auto imports also softened 2.8% vs. the first nine months of 2007.
Farther north, Seattle's imports waned in September on both the month and year, according to port data. Exports rose 1.3% vs. August but stumbled more than 16% vs. last September. Year to date through September, Seattle's boxed imports fell nearly 16% and exports eased by about 3%.
On the GulfCoast, Hurricane Ike bruised containerized volumes in both directions along with some of the steel tonnage heading in and out of the harbor, according to the port. Increases may return in November, the port said.
Back East, the giant Port of New York and New Jersey bucked economic trends in September and posted gains in container imports and exports, both vs. August and vs. a year ago, according to port data. Year-to-date, however, imports decreased 2.3% while exports swelled 17.4%.
The South Carolinaport of Charleston saw imports drop 12% in September vs. August and 16% vs. a year ago, while exports fell 12% vs. August and were even with September 2007, according to port spokesman Byron Miller.
"There were several vessels diverted because of Tropical Storm Hanna, which might have contributed to the September counts," Miller said. He also said exports may "dim, as many of the world's largest economies see challenges."
In Georgia, the Port of Savannah's September imports grew nearly 12% vs. August but were about flat vs. last year, according to port data. Exports from the fast-growing port were steady vs. August but nearly 10% higher than those of September 2007.
The Commerce Department is scheduled to release September international trade data on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. EDT. A median forecast in a Market News International survey of economists called for the U.S. international trade deficit to narrow in September to $57.0 billion from $59.1 billion in August.

Hear that GOP? Now come back to the Right or we'll have 8 years of Obama |
|
|
|
Congratulations to Barack Obama. He ran a far better campaign and did so by not poking his base in the eye. McCain’s campaign was a disaster and he couldn’t wait to poke his base in the eye. In the long run, I think this will be good for the Republican Party because it may serve as a wakeup call: WE WILL NOT VOTE L.O.T.E. any longer. I had already mailed in my vote and I’m happy to say that I wrote in Newt Gingrich for President and Bobby Jindal as Vice President. I just hope the Republican leaders that manage to stay alive learn something: Listen to the People. When we say “No Amnesty”, we mean it. When we say “No Bail out”, we mean it. When we say “Drill Here”, we mean it. My one wish out of this is that I get to cast another ballot in 2012 that matches how I voted this time around.

2012? |

WHERE HAVE I BEEN SPENDING MY TIME?
Hiding behind the scenes working the work politicians don’t want to talk about. But today I had it. I blew up. Mildly but I’m sure to hear from the campaign about my two post in the link (possibly this one) supporting my cousin. What slays me is that the reporter is a long time family friend. But what really got to me were the comments by Davos. I have no idea how Newt’s family handles the C.R.A.P. the media throws out at him but I feel for them. Today it’s Palin’s turn to have the insults thrown at her over her clothing and who bought what. Will it work? I don’t know and I don’t care as I’ve already voted.
My wife voted L.O.T.E. but I could not find it in good Republican/Conservative conscience to vote for McCain. Palin I could handle but I wrote in Newt/Jindal and hope to vote for that ticket again in 2012.

What do you do when...... |

Your campaign is up to its knees in C R A P? You call on the plumber. And that’s what McCain did in the debate last night bringing up “Joe The Plumber” (JTP) over twenty times between the both of them. What McCain fails to realize, here in Southern California, that’s the kind of job going to the illegal invaders. Jobs just like that are now harder to obtain by the American Citizen because they can’t charge their normal going rate.
CALIFORNIA IS BROKE and as the saying goes: As goes California, so goes the Nation.
May God help us as we’re so screwed no matter who wins this time around. Think we’re not? Just look at the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach. I won’t bore you with the details but many carriers are cutting their transpacific routes for a good reason. There is no money.

A time to Buy not a time to cry |
|
|
|
I’m sitting here watching the market correct itself (or doing whatever it’s doing) and people are asking me all sorts of questions about 401k’s and what’s going to happen. The only answer I can honestly provide is: How the hell am I supposed to know? I’m 36 so this is not going to matter to me as I’ve got a ways to go before I retire, but I feel bad for those that are near retirement as they will suffer the most. For the young ones out there, now is the time to buy and not a time to cry. Everybody knows that old saying: Buy low and sell high. Well, it’s low now (guessing when it will hit the rock bottom is not the point) so lets jump in!!!! It’s going to be a long time before we recover fully but we will. Now here are some tea leaves for you to read.

Shipping must “retrench and downsize”, says Slater
Athens
: There is no “China factor” to provide new demand and thus mitigate the over-supply of ships in the months ahead. The shipping markets face stormy weather which will continue for several years. These are the views of ship financier Paul Slater, who addressed a Financial Times Shipping Conference in Athens yesterday. His comments come as Asian lines pull tonnage off the trans-Pacific and New Alliance members APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and MOL are reported to be slashing two services from Asia to the North American west coast by the end of this month, cutting almost a fifth of the Alliance’s capacity on the world’s second most important liner trade.
Slater, who is Chairman of First International Corp and an MD of US investment bank Griffin Holdings, believes shipping will have to “retrench and downsize” in order to re-energise the freight markets but he believes this will take several years. Significant lay-ups and further cancellations of new orders should be expected, he warned.
“The dry cargo markets look very vulnerable in all sizes,” he told delegates, “and we are likely to see rates weaken significantly and remain there for several years. Ships delivered in the last year and those due to be commissioned over the next two years will struggle to meet their debt service and will earn no profit for their owners,” Slater predicted. The Baltic’s dry bulk indices have continued their free fall in recent days, with its Dry Index slipping 14% since the beginning of the month. Despite a brief recovery last Friday and Monday, the Baltic Capesize Index, at 4057 yesterday’s close, is down 6% so far this month whilst the Supramax Index has plunged 27%.

My Two Cents on the Debate |
|
|
|
Well I was watching the debate last night and honestly they both did very well. I did, however, scream wildly at the t.v. set last night sending my dog under the bed. Palin missed hitting the nail in the coffin and I wanted her to hit it home.
I’ve made clear to my friends and family that I don’t have a dog in this race. McCain and Obama are one and the same. I am pulling for Palin and I hope McCain loses so she can come back stronger and on her own CONSERVATIVE VALUES. (Sarah, please step away from the liberal.)
Why was I screaming at the T.V.? Biden was talking about the Maverick and then said “I’ll Paraphrase what McCain said”.
BAM
That started the yelling. “PLEASE PALIN, STEP IN AND HIT HIM HARD.”
The wife: “Do you think they can hear you?”
Me: “Maybe!”
The wife: “Alright smarty pants, what would you come back with?”
Me: “My response would be: ‘Why paraphrase when you’re so good at plagiarism?’”
The Wife: “what’s Plagiarism?” (English is not her first language)
Me: “Get back to watching the debate”
My Brother: “That would have hit every headline on all the major papers.”
Me: “Don’t rub it in.”

No Thanks |

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here but there is some reason for this. I’m defeated. I just can’t bring myself to support McAmensty and he doesn’t seem to understand why. Day in and Day out, another one of our citizens is gunned down by illegal invaders and we have a Government that doesn’t care. Not only do they not care, they promote more destruction of our Great Nation! I was reading another FLUFF PIECE about how families suffer when we deport the illegal invaders. As usual, I wanted to get the feel of the people so I went to the posting section to see the views. I was enlightened that so many people are finally up in direct arms over the illegals and even happier to see a politician get down in the dirt with Us Peons on the posting board. Walter Moore Chirped in that we should support him for Mayor of Los Angeles, and support him I do.
I usually go on these threads and type how I want all police cars in Southern California to have bumper stickers that read: “You Report, We Deport” (Newt Team, you can have that slogan) and I get the usual comebacks that I’m racist. So I am continuing on in the comment section when a poster directed our attention to a website. Caution, if you get angry at people wanting to harm America Don’t GO HERE . Especially don’t scroll down to see what they have planned for Friday September 19th in Phoenix, Arizona. Hint, a protest against that evil Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
People, these are the groups that both Obama and McCain pander to and provide comfort for. Note that for info on the protest you are directed to ANOTHER CORRUPT ORANIZATION RUINING NEIGHBORHOODS or more commonly known as A.C.O.R.N. the voter fraud solicitors.
McCain has proven time and time again that he’s going to offer amnesty to those that Hate America as pointed out in that link you were warned not to read. Gov. Palin, while a great choice, is not enough for me to pull the lever for McCain. In fact, I hope after reading about how the illegal invaders want a reconquista that you wake up and tell McCain, “NO THANKS”.

You Title It |

BANG! GOES THE STARTING PISTOL.
Today, I’m sure as the sun will rise in the East, Hannity will be touting the new polls that has McAmnesty leading by 5. 3 hours on his Radio show and half of his T.V. show (only because comb over gets his fair share). These are the same polls that he said meant nothing yesterday, just because Obama was leading by one. Now I like Sean and feel he’s really a sincere person but it’s come to the point that I can’t stand listening to 3 hours of “Bash Obama”. I POSTED ON HERE BEFORE ABOUT SPRINGFIELD, IL. AND THE RACE RIOT OF 1908 but that’s not the link to that. That’s the link about Obama’s upcoming trip to Springfield. I personally know a great deal of the people mentioned in that article and there’s one thing McAmnesty’s team doesn’t understand: WHAT THEY ARE UP AGAINST!
Sean and McAmnesty want to paint Obama as “A Politician.” Well, guess what, HE IS A POLITICIAN and a very damn good one, at that. I’m a Conservative Republican and man enough to tell it like it is. Illinois Politics is one tuff game and you need to know the who’s who of the party’s machine. I have not been able to confirm first hand if William Cellini is supporting Obama or not, but my guess is that he’s supporting Obama. (Sorry if I’m wrong Mr. Cellini and that would be a size 10 for the cement shoes, if so.) YOU SEE, CELLINI IS WHAT THEY CALL A "POWER BROKER". I was shocked to find that many articles about him have been recently removed from some search engines. Mr. Bill is a high powered REPUBLICAN BROKER but he’s been known to cross the aisle when it was in the interest of the city and the state.
For all the heat the man takes, he truly is a good person and has launched the Political careers of many a man and woman that had no chance. Recent investigations fail to mention his good deeds to the community but I’m not going to waste the time telling you about them.
Back to point: I was very inspired by that first link. Just the other day I started my own trial balloon and contacted some folks back in my home town of Springfield and the balloon was not shot down, so that link at the beginning really made me think.
Over the weekend, Jamiel Shaw Sr. (If you don’t know his name by now, you’re a troglodyte that needs to get out more often) was conducting his “hour of power” where they set up card tables and had their petitions to get Jamiel’s Law onto the ballot in November, due to the lack of leadership in the L.A. city council. What happened? The Police came by and broke up their petition gathering and even requested to see Jamiel Shaw Sr.’s Id, including his social security number. (Matt, you can check that out easily on Mayor Sam’s blog, Doug McIntyre’s show, or even call Jamiel Shaw Sr. They demanded to see his SS#)
That, My friends, is the very call to arms. I will not be voting for McAmnesty nor will I be voting for Obama. I will not be voting for any 3rd party either. I will be voting for a Conservative Republican named Newt Gingrich. His only problem, outside of not getting into the race, was sitting on the couch with San Fran Nan (I still wonder if he was able to rid himself from the fleas).
Sure, I’ll receive the, “you’re wasting your vote” posts and I say I’m making my vote. I will focus on the local politics as the 2nd largest city in America is on the verge of being taken over.
Now to tie this mess all together with a little bow on top: I have a few months to make a decision on moving back to Springfield and start my own little petition gathering. The pistol has gone off and it’s time to leave the blocks and run. 2010 and 2012 are right around that corner.

It should be mandatory that every damn law enforcement vehicle have a sticker saying: YOU REPORT, WE DEPORT!!!! Enough is enough with these damn punks.
Sorry, but These Gangs are controlling everything. Notice the deadlock? IT ONLY TAKES ONE DUMN A$$ TO LET A GUILTY MAN FREE.
Wake UP! DING DONG, DING DONG, DING DONG, The 8000 Pound Gorilla is at the door.

More on the Plastic Bag Tax (I'm not going to stop) |
|
|
|
BACK TO THE PLASTIC BAG TAX. Today the City Government is going to force private companies to provide space for the day laborers (Illegal Invaders That stand in front of “Home Deport (sp)”.) Isn’t that just GREAT! The space will have to have plumbing, trash facilities and other little specials for these illegal invaders to relax while they wait for UnAmerican employers (legal or non, still not patriotic for hiring illegals). WHERE IN THE HELL IS ICE?
ARE THEY ON CRACK? Knowing that politicians can be bought I would not doubt that the drug lords have paid their price for their officials. SO we get MORE CRIME.
I want to thank Newt for giving me a place to post about the injustice caused by the illegal invaders. Many politicians are afraid of La Raza and the latino backlash. He must know that THERE ARE LEGAL LATINO GROUPS THAT DO NOT AGREE WITH THE ILLEGAL INVADERS GETTING A FREE PASS!
People, I’ve been watching the plastic bag tax being tossed around here in Los Angeles. It’s a very big deal. They want to tax me 10 cents per bag. My Question to you folks:
When Can We tax our politicians for every body bag we need due to their failure to protect us?
